Persian Cultural Association of South Australia accepts new members:
It is now over 25 years since various Persian cultural groups started their activities in South Australia. Over a year ago these different groups united to form a new Persian Cultural Association which is independent of all political and religious preference. Great success has been achieved in a relatively short period of time in various fields. These include organisation of several cultural events and annual festivals, attraction of younger generation to Persian music and culture, liaising with several Australian organisations and introducing our culture to the wider community. The success achieved by the Association is not only due to the efforts of the members of the committee but also due to the support of a great number of Iranians living in South Australia which shows the importance of unity and support of the whole of the Persian community.
The expansion of activities and services and planning for future events will not be possible without the support and cooperation of the entire community. Therefore we would like to invite all our compatriots to join the Persian Cultural Association so that as a permanent member they can help improve and strengthen its activities.
